The students & teachers of the vidyalaya completed UNESCO allotted project – A Study of Kumaon Culture, successfully.They visited the important sites, monuments & rural area & studied the culture of Kumaon Region.A detailed Report was submitted to UNESCO attached with the photographs. |

The vidyalaya was assigned to organize Walk in Interview for the appointment of teachers for contract basis for the session 2010-11. It was held in the month of May 2010. |

Mr. C.P. Singh PGT Physics was transferred to JNV Kannauj. Mr. Santosh Bahuguna & Mr H.C.S. Rana joined the vidyalaya as PGT Physics & PGT Maths respectively. |

The collection of students’ self composed poems “SPROUTS” was compiled & presented to Dr. Kaleem (A.C. NVS RO Lucknow) who admired the efforts of the students & teachers. |

Panel Inspection of vidyalaya was held on 28th & 29th Nov 2010. The Inspection Team comprised – Dr. M.Kaleem, A.C. NVS RO Lucknow/ Cluster Incharge, Mr Tej Sagar, Principal JNV Almora, Mr J.C. Gupta, Principal JNV Champawat, Mr. J.N. Sharma, Ex Principal, JNV U.S. Nagar. They appreciated the academic atmosphere prevailing in the vidyalaya. They also witnessed the Youth Pariament performance by the students of the vidyalaya. |

Mr. Shahwaz Siddiqui joined the vidyalaya as a Store Keeper on 31.01.2011. |

Annual Function 2010-11 was celebrated on 11.02.11 at the M.P. Hall of the vidyalaya. The function was inaugurated by Mr. K.C. Singh Baba. Hon’ble M.P. Nainital. Besides him several dignitaries & the parents of the students were also present in the function.The students gave splendid presentation of cultural programmes including folk dances, dramas, group songs & yoga performance etc.The chief guest distributed the prizes to the meritorious students for the session 2010-11. |

Master Harish Pant class XI student was awarded as the Best Student of the year by NVS for his excellent performance in academics. |

All the students of clas XII passed in AISSCE 2011 with first division. Master Alok Sharma got the first position in the vidyalaya by securing 93.8 percent marks. |

Vidyalaya students & teachers participated in British Council Project Dos & Don’t’s & interacted with the students of Kazakhsthan. |

A training camp for the teachers of different JNVs from all over the country was organized in the vidyalaya on 4th & 5th April 2011, in which 30 teachers took part. |

Three days Walk In Interview for the appointment of contract teachers for the session 2011-12 was organized in the vidyalaya on 1st, 2nd & 3rd June 2011. The professors of Kumaon University acted as experts. |
